About Sister Films

Since its formation in 2002, Sister Films has produced outstanding cutting edge short films, attracting over sixty international awards (including three BAFTAs and nominations for both American and European Academy Awards).

Sister Films is the home of producer Ohna Falby and director Daniel Mulloy.

Who is Sister Films?

Ohna Falby (Producer)

Ohna Falby grew up in France and studied film in New York. In London since the mid-eighties she has worked as a commercials PM and producer for directors such as Mike Newell, Mike Figgis, Peter Richardson and Joseph Kahn. She was head of production at HSI London and has most recently been working as a producer at Danny Kleinman and Ringan Ledwidge's company Rattling Stick producing for directors Tom Vaughan and Steve Cope.

Ohna and Kevin on set of Son Ohna produced the multi award winning films Sister, Dad and Son and gave her support to the making and finishing of Antonio's Breakfast. Her films have won many awards and critical acclaim internationally including most recently the Best Short Film at the Edinburgh IFF for Son. She has been successful at licensing her shorts digitally and on broadcast channels throughout the world. She continues to pursue the sales of the films in order to raise capital enabling the various funding bodies to recoupe their investments and also to help fund the development of their future feature film projects.

Laura D'Asta (Production Assistant & Traffic Control)

Laura graduated with honours from a Languages & Literature in Film Studies course in Italy. Laura speaks 5 languages fluently and has used her skills to work in Film Festivals as well as within film production throughout Italy, Germany and the UK. Laura joined the Sister team after working on their short film Son as an assistant. She is now in charge of co-ordinating festivals and print traffic and is helping develop new projects.
